met kangling, my primary sch fren for ktv @ cck kbox today.. we went for d k-lunch since kangling got sth on in d evening.. it was sth to look forward to after so so sooooooo long.. we had plans to hit d mics much earlier but due to our examz, d plans hv to be delayed... finally today our wish has cum true.. heez.. =p
it was a gd time spent but wif a few hiccups in d way..
firstly, d waiter got our lunch order wrong.. we actually ordered d cheapest food, seafood fried rice, coz we din wana eat too full as we planned to hv pizza ltr on after our ktv session.. but d waiter sent us d wrong order.. instead of giving us our order, he gave us d mixed fried set, which is like d most ex dish for d lunch menu.. went to tell him dat dat was nt wad we ordered.. he replied saying dat he keyed in d wrong dish, asked us if we can juz tk d mixed fried set.. wanting to minimise trouble, we relented.. thinking dat since itz still food so shld b quite ok la..
d food on d whole was barely ok.. d rice is cold n hard, d gyoza was nt crispy, d tempura chicken n prawn r cold n "lou feng" oredi n der's dis fried potato thingy which i'm nt even sure wad exactly it is after eating it..basically judging from d fotos below, u shld know how's d rating for d food oredi.. =p
we sang to our hearts' content... despite @ times der were some out-of-pitch n flat tones.. we're nt professionals so who cares abt wad head-voice n chest-voice... we juz wanted to hv fun.. heez =p
den d waiter came knocking our door @ ard 1pm, asking us if we wanted to extend our time for another hr as our time slot will end @ 2pm, on condition dat we order another drink... we were ok wif d idea since we still hv like a v long list of songs waiting for us...so we said ok n gave him our orders for d drinks... thinking dat we still hv like a gd 2 hrs to sing, we began to find more songs to add on to d list.. den when d nxt moment d waiter came in, he handed us d bill which was like ard 1.30pm, i was thinking to myself y they need to send in d bill so early when our time ends @ 3pm.. but i nv voice out anyth, thinking dat dis might b d way things work.. so upon getting d receipt back from d guy.. i double-checked wif him if our time ends @ 3pm n guess wad he told me...
" no ah... ur time ends at 2, i asked u all juz nw if wan extend den u say dun wan ma.."
wtf! i was caught for words.. i'm v sure dat we told him dat we wanted to extend n we even placed our orders for d drinks lor... is he deaf or wad siah...cant even get simple things correctly... ears blocked ah... time to go dig ur ears liao la, lousy waiter! we were both so pissed off lor.. come to tink of it i should hv noted down his name n complain siah... lousy svc rendered.. somemore still wana count 10% svc charge.. kbox is juz lousy... nt onli dis branch.. in fact branches evywhere.. hahz!
so we ended up singing onli partial of each song so dat we can finish up our list... so v "bu shuang" lor.. haiz... so to cover up dis unhappiness, we decided to tk fotos... hehe.. had fun trying to aim properly n tk... look @ our masterpieces below ba.. keke..
it was a nice day spent thou some hiccups on d way but still i'm glad dat i met my pri sch fren kangling again after so long... "ger, meet up again soon ya!!" =D
