the sky was threatening to pour when i was preparing to go to work, so i headed off to sch w/o my lunch, hoping to escape the downpour, but still i wasnt in time.
oh well, no choice, i had to brave the storm under my old umbrella, hoping to get a cab so that at least i wun be that wet.
but after standing by the roadside for quite long, the cabs that came past were all hired n my pants are getting more n more wet as each minute passed..
so i decided to head to take the lrt instead.
finally got to the lrt stn n realised that i had forgotten to bring my hp out.

the torrents of rain were even bigger when i head back home to take my hp!
bloody hell.. my pants were soaked up to almost knee length by then..
i was crossing my fingers to be able to get a cab this time round n fortunately a cabbie was going to change shift to go to CCK Way.. n he decided to pick me.
reached school with pants wet, shoes wet n a terrible headache... such a lousy way to begin the day.. :(
things changed for the better when baby sms me to say that he's coming to have dinner with me tonight... yipee!!! haven seen him for days n i juz miss him so much! :)
after like "ages", 6.30pm finally came n i'm finally off from work!!
my sweet baby waited for me outside my school gate n we went to Lot1 to have dinner @ Wan Chai HongKong Restaurant.
i was famishing when we reached there n we ordered quite alot of food. hehez..

after a hearty dinner, we walked around Lot1 to search for baby's dad's birthday present.. after walking thru a few shops, we finally managed to find what we wanted to find. we went past BHG also and saw many ppl crowding around a place trying on sweaters.. we went to take a look n being the "hiao" me, i took one n tried too.. hehe... tried on a few colours n baby said the red one suits me..
so my sweet darling bought the sweater for me so that i will not feel cold anymore in my cold staff room.. thank you dzz!! muackz! :)

baby sent me home after all our shopping n we came to the topic of buying a car for the both of us to use.. we thought that it could b a gd idea that we get a small car to facilitate our transport so baby went online to check out what are the available kinda cars within our budget.. we're still on the lookout, still in the process of deciding... any one has gd recommendations?
so today is a happy day after all, despite the morning suayness..
all thanks to my darling boy.. u really brighten up my life!

being the curious pie i am, i kept asking him for clues, but much as he tried to keep mum, more or less, the cat was let out of the bag, but still i was looking forward to today coz i cant wait to try my baby's masterpiece! heh..
yup, my darling is juz so sweet to bake ai xin cookies for me!!!

this is his first attempt making cookies n the end result is really not bad.. :)
he came all the way to the mrt stn to pick me, the box of cookies in one hand, a water bottle in another, juz becoz i said that i was feeling abit hungry on the train, he came prepared with all these, for fear that his xzz will go hungry..

we had a late night out on friday.
after reaching his place n bathing, we had a simple dinner at his place before heading out for our movies.
non stop action, thou some of the fighting parts can be quite cruel, i cried for Jaycee Chan (Jackie Chan's son) in the movie coz that part of the story is really touching.. at the end of the day, i felt that the real hero is neither NicholasTse, who puts all his heart n soul into capturing the baddies even to the extent of endangering his life, nor Shawn Yue, who's the act cool, act dao kinda cop who undeniably has gd fighting skills, but is Jaycee Chan who proves to be the one who can fight the least in the show. Check out this movie to c if u agree with me.. totally worth the money! :)
after our late movie, baby brought me to jalan kaya for prata n satay, knowing i had a craving for satay..haha.. baby juz dotes on me so much to let me eat such sinful food late at night.. keke..
after a hearty supper of pratas, satays, milo peng n milo dinosaur, we headed to seletar dam to chill out n count stars..
it was quite a gloomy night n it looked like itz threatening to rain but still, after much efforts, we managed to find 2 stars in the sky.. we had a nice time, with me snuggling up in baby's arm, chitchatting abt anything juz the nice moonlight..
headed back home ard 2+ n we went to bed.
soon the next day, saturday came n we woke up only at ard 10+. had initially wanted to go to sentosa to suntan, but the sky looks threatening so we had a change of plan.
after a quick breakfast, baby saw that the MPH @ Parkway Parade was having a moving out sale so we decided to head there to spend our sat..
i told baby that i wanted to have lunch at the hawker centre @ Parkway Parade coz the char kway tiao there is cheap n nice.. n so we headed there by bus for lunch n some book-shopping..
after lunch, we walked around abit at the heartland n i managed to re-stock my little treats for my kidddos in school.
then we headed over to MPH but it was quite a disappointing trip as we did not managed to get anything from there. The whole place is juz so super messy with kids running all over the place n super duper long queues @ the cashier counters. I guess this is like the usual phenonmen @ closing down sales ba.
so we decided to get out of MPH n shopped around Parkway Parade.
i nv knew that PP is so huge n the crowd there is beyond words.
we walked around abit before we stepped in to Charles n Keith. i had wanted to get a pair of wedges there but too bad they run out of my sizing.. :(
continued to walk on some more before we ended up at Giant.
yup, both of us juz seemed to hv a weird habit to shop @ bookstores n supermarkets..haha!
we came to this baking session n decided that we'll have a baking session that night.
since baby is so sweet to bake me cookies, i decided to bake him a chocolate sponge cake, thou i know that i flop @ baking, i wanted to give it a try.
we saw some ingredients for baking wholemeal bread too so we decided to give it a try too as baby's dad has the bread machine.
we left Giant with our baking ingredients n decided to head home to start our baking session.
before we got home, we headed to AMK NTUC to get some chicken as i wanted to make ginseng chicken soup for baby.
finally, after gettting all the things we needed, we headed home n started our baking session.
itz a really different n fun session to try out with ur partners.
somehow, i feel that itz like some sort of bond between both person n i enjoyed it alot, thou most of the time, baby was the one teaching me how to do this, how to do that.. heh!

thou evyth has already passed now, but the images of the day's event is still running thru my mind now stop..
every now n then, tears circled the rims of my eyes n fall uncontrollably down the cheeks..
itz really so heart cringing..
such feelings is really way beyond words..

many things have happened for this past month, n i'll try my best to recall as much as i can..
-> i've finally graduated from NIE n has officially started work @ KPS on 28th May.

-> Darling brought me to New York New York @ AMK Hub to try their seafood platter for two after bringing me out on a shopping trip.. heh! our initial all time favourite seafood platter for two was the one from Fish n Co' but i guess after trying out the one at NYNY, i've probably got a chance of heart.. *oops* the yummilicious salmon n cold crab n the fresh n juicy prawns leaves me lingering for more... looking at the way both of us cleared the plate, u should know how gr8 it is.. ;)

-> went to Kukup with my family n relatives for a short getaway during the weekends n itz a rather sinful trip.
5 meals a day, with the "eat-all-u-can" policy, really adds on a few more kilos in juz a 2 days' stay.. n of coz not forgetting the late night mahjong sessions n non stop ktv singing... haha.. thou sinful, but still itz an enjoyable trip, relaxing n stress free. :)

-> Godpa left us peacefully on 12July after fighting with the evil demon for so long.. have been rushing over to the wake every night since after work to help out.. may he rest in peace! will be going to send him on his last journey tmr morning...
-> Darling drove over early in the morning on friday the thirteenth n brought me out for breakfast at subway b4 sending me to work in the afternoon. the breakfast @ subway basically is quite nice, juz that i feel that their service could hv been faster. there was no one in the queue when baby n i reached there n after placing our orders, we waited for abt 10mins if nt more than that juz to get a ham & egg bun, a bacon n egg bun, a coffee n a tea.. itz not as if our orders is alot but yet that auntie has to take donkey ages to get them prepared.. thou it was an unpleasant waiting time, but still it was a gd morning as well as an enjoyable breakfast with the man i love most! :) n i simply love their oatmeal raisin cookie!!! heh!
-> Finally got the chance to have breakfast at Cafe Cartel with darling today, since their breakfast is only available on sat, sun n public hols.. the breakfast was really quite sumptous n super filling, so much so that i'm still feeling damn bloated now.. *satisfied*
