seeing dat i'm home, so my mum decided to go ntuc to shop for some groceries.. n we decided to go to an outlet somewhere near since we anticipate dat we are gonna get lotsa stuffz.. hence, we went to bt panjang plaza..
upon reaching der, we knew we made a wrong choice... y?
coz today happened to be 5566's autograph session!!!!! dinna expected it at all man... :/
it was reali ppl mountain ppl sea der... 1st time in my 8yrs of staying in bt panjang dat i c so many ppl @ BP plaza.. haha.. amongst d crowd i spotted many xiao mei meis, aunties, n even old grannies.. it was kinda a farnie sight to c dem scream @ d top of their voices to get d DJ to play 5566's songs... it somehow look like a "mini-riot" to me.. =p
kids nowadays r definitely v crazy over these pop idols.. n they're reali v rich oso lor... since today's sutograph session is a promo gimmick for their concert, onli d concert poster wld b autographed, meaning dat u'll hv to purchase d tix first... n mind u they're nt cheap lor.. perhaps to sum it up, kids nw knows how to enjoy life... haha.. or rather, parents r oso pampering their kids too much as i see many parents who actually brought their kids who r as young as 4 yrs old to d autograph session, making me tink who is reali d fan of 5566... lolz
while i was viewing the crowd on d 3rd level, it made me realise wad a clown i've been when i went to other autograph sessions myself.. if i can stand der n laugh at other ppl who're queuing up, i'm sure there r ppl out der who're laughin their hearts at me who's oso equally silly to queue for a mere signature..
i realise it reali time for me to grow up... itz no longer a priviledge for me to follow d trend of teens by "chasing" pop idols, especially nw dat my fav boy band ENERGY has disbanded...
i guess itz time for me to re-treat to become a background supporter of these talented ppl n leave all the "chasing" to younger kids...
i've gotta admit, i'm getting old... no longer suitable for such stuffz...i'm retiring...
