itz his BIG day today...
itz the wedding of Sze Kai & Ashley... :)
the wedding dinner was held in SAFRA(mount faber)
venue was rather ulu..
my dad says coz itz an old housing area, somewhere at henderson..
well, i've got nth to worry anyway since the one behind d wheel is nt me..lol
my whole family was specially dressed up for this occasion.
as my mum is a long time kahkis of Sze Kai's mother, we decided that we should give them enough face by dressing up appropriately.. :)
the course of the dinner was not too bad..
1) cold dish mixed platter
2) braised shark fins soup
3) steamed red groupa in assam sauce
4) sea cucumber with mushrooms and vegetables
5) prawn fillet in orange sauce
6) fried scallops with asparagus
7) roast chicken with mango slices
8) fried hongkong mee
9) boiled hashima with red dates
but one thing nt so gd is perhaps the space in the ballroom..
tables were all rather packed together despite that there were only abt 40tables in all..
the atmosphere was nt too excellent oso..
nt lively enough..
nt noisy enough..brothers & sisters doing when itz was time for "yum seng"
imagine that the toasting has to be led by auntie's ang moh son-in-law..hahz..
John muz be the one who's enjoying himself most..kekez
the bride wore a traditional red "kua" during her second change of clothes..
fyi, traditional red kua is a chinese gown that's hand sewn with pictures of dragon n phoneix..
it was simply gorgeous!!
i also wanna wear traditional kua for my wedding..
itz damn pretty lor..
n special too.... hehz..
n next time for my wedding, i muz make sure that there are ppl who'll be spontaneous enough to make the whole atmosphere lively and noisy... heh
