thinking back on what has happened less than an hr ago still gives me the shivers.
imagine sitting on a cab, going at rocket speed, weaving in and out of lane and worse of all, the driver showed symptoms of falling aslp!
i keep a lookout on the roads myself but since i wasnt d one handling the wheels, there's nth much i can do.
i anticipated the worst and indeed it nearly happened!
while the cab was going along lornie road, my cab nearly lang-gah into the car in front!
brakes jamming and brakes screeches..
luckily d cab stopped in time to prevent the accident from happening.
i almost wanted to ask the uncle to stop the cab and let me get out.
i still wana live on for heaven's sake!
but that stretch of road seemed rather ulu so i decided to tk a bet with my life.
i continued my journey home, in one piece, fortunately!
to my shock, when i reached my place, i was told to pay a fare of $13 when the meter showed $12.
i refused to hand over the $$ and demanded for a reason why i hv to pay more.
n u know what the uncle said?
"miss ah, today deepavali eve leh, of course muz pay extra surcharge la!"
WTF!!!!!
since when did we hv to pay extra surcharge for festival's eve???
thou itz nt alot, but at least say it politely la.
i dont owe u anything leh.
u're lucky that i did not sue u for dangerous driving and for almost causing me to lose my life!
