it is barely 2wks ago that a chinese man jumped down the MRT tracks @ Chinese Garden to end off his life..
while we're still caught in the mystery of why he did dat, another case happened again, this time, still along the East-West Line, @ Clementi.(see report)
i was caught by surprised when i heard the news from my classmate this morning.
at the back of my mind, i was thinking, "Oh my, not again!!"
somehow or another, when the Chinese Garden case happened earlier on, i had a hunch that it will lead to similiar "copying" cases..
and especially when follow-up reports claimed that the deceased's family received 500K of "bai jin", the hunch grew stronger.
nt that i foul mouth or what, but somehow, i juz cant understand y ppl r "copying" such acts?!!
seriously, i think these ppl r reali courageous n brave.. if it was me, i cfm wun hv the courage to jump down n risked myself getting squashed under the tires and to be splitted into parts... so gruesome!!! *yuckzzz*
thinking back on all these incidents, i was thinking,
what is our society progressing towards?
where is our direction?
why r all these problems surfacing out one after another?
is it because of stress?
is it because of $$?
is it because of unsolved problems?
goodness me! i dun have the slightest idea...
