sighz... rainy day really dampens all the mood to do things.
initially planned to go IKEA to get a bookshelf to pack all my books neatly in my room but now, totally no mood to step out of hse at all...
today's the third day i'm wearing my braces.
yes, i put them on on fri (12/01).
chose baby pink n lavendar for my braces.
the colours r nt v striking thou, but i still quite like them.
the initial part of putting them in my mouth was a painful process, thou my dentist claimed that it will nt b painful @ all but crap lor.. itz still painful, especially the pulling n tugging part of the metal wire.
it was uncomfortable @ first coz it juz feels weird to close my mouth with an extra layer of metal on it.
suddenly my mouth seemed enlarged! :(
but luckily, i'm slowly getting used to this feeling, thou the left part of my tongue is a little sore as it rubs against the metal ring in my molar tooth..
no ulcers @ the moment n i hope there WUN be any :)
so basically i cant tk hard food now coz i cant chew, so cant only resort to soft n liquid food..
i've grown to like Nestle's yogurt drink thou, yummy n tasty n filling..
went out with baby yday to Funan IT Mall first to get his preorder for his WOW burning crusade expansion pack.
then we went to KFC for lunch.. where baby fulfilled his cravings for TACO BELL's wraps. i had chicken nuggets n whipped potato..
after lunch, we shopped ard Funan abit and popped into the Times bookstore there where i had the shock of my life on how much a toddler's storybook cost!
my god.. who'll spend this amount of money to buy such a book???
then we headed over to The Cathy to catch a movie.
whilst waiting for our movie, we went to try out Ben and Jerry's ice-cream.
itz our first time trying out this ice-cream, costs us $7 for juz 2scoops.
we had some nice nice choc one which i forgot the name oredi n frozen black raspberry yogurt.. thou itz quite ex, but itz really nice, that's y we forgot to tk pic of it b4 we started to devour it.. heh, thus it explains the following pic only :p
we watched "Night @ the Museum".
it was a real hilarious show...got us both into fits of laughter..
"yeh u dumb dumb, give me gum gum..." "yeh u dumb dumb better run run or you will be hunt hunt..."
dinner was @ Sakae Sushi again, juz to accomodate my eating habits now..
my baby is juz so wonderful.. i'm juz so blessed! (",)
